Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco recall embarrassing party blunder at Taylor Swift’s afterparty
Mar 21, 2025
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco recently shared a light-hearted but embarrassing moment from their relationship: showing up way too early to one of Taylor Swift’s famous afterparties.
During a chat on Spotify’s "Countdown To" podcast, the couple reflected on their mistimed arrival at Swift’s post-award show gathering. Gomez admitted she was excited to bring Blanco along but quickly realised they had made a major party faux pas.
“I don’t know, it was kind of cute, but I was mortified,” she confessed. “Apparently, cool people don’t show up to parties on time.”

Blanco didn’t miss the opportunity to tease his fiancée about her punctuality. “We’re the first people at every single party when I go with you,” he laughed. “You show up when my mom shows up to a party.”
Adding to the awkwardness, the couple was keeping their relationship under wraps at the time. Blanco recalled how they avoided public displays of affection to keep their romance a secret. “We didn’t even, like, touch each other or really look at each other,” he said. Yet, Gomez didn’t seem thrilled when other women unknowingly flirted with him.
“If a girl came up to me or something, you were like, ‘Hmm,’” Blanco joked. Gomez quickly denied the claim with a laugh, telling him to stop exaggerating.

The exact party remains a mystery, but by December 2023, their relationship was no longer a secret. They were spotted together in New York celebrating Swift’s birthday, confirming months of speculation. Their romance eventually led to an engagement announcement, with Swift even volunteering to be their "flower girl."
Blanco also revealed that dating Gomez turned him into a full-fledged Swiftie. “I was aware of Taylor’s music before we started dating, but I wasn’t a true Swiftie until I was with Selena,” he admitted on "Hot Ones." Now, he regularly asks Gomez to play old Swift songs while they’re driving.
As the couple prepares to drop their collaborative album "I Said I Love You First," Gomez has credited Blanco with reigniting her love for music. She previously struggled with her artistic direction but found inspiration through their partnership. “It was different from any process I’ve been through before,” she said, talking about how their creative bond deepened both their relationship and her music.
Their album, featuring tracks like "Sunset Blvd" and "Scared of Loving You," is set to release this Friday, marking a new chapter for the duo both personally and professionally.

“I sent Aryan Khan water and cigarettes in jail, protected him from the mafia”: Ajaz Khan’s explosive jail claims
Mar 21, 2025
Ajaz Khan, who was incarcerated in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail in 2021 for a drug-related case, has made sensational claims about his time behind bars. In a recent interview, he stated that he played a crucial role in protecting Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, and businessman Raj Kundra during their respective jail terms. His comments have sparked debate, with many questioning the validity of his statements.
Ajaz claimed that during Aryan Khan’s brief stay in jail following the high-profile cruise drug case, he ensured the young star kid’s safety from criminal elements. According to him, the prison housed around 3,500 inmates, making it a dangerous environment for someone like Aryan. In a recent interview, Ajaz stated, “I helped Aryan Khan. I sent him water and cigarettes. That’s all you can do for someone in jail. And yes, I also protected him from gangsters and the mafia.”

The claim has raised eyebrows, especially since Aryan was in jail for only 26 days and was placed in a separate barrack with strict surveillance. The actor’s comments have fuelled speculation about whether he genuinely assisted Aryan or if he is merely seeking attention by invoking Shah Rukh Khan’s name.
Ajaz also mentioned that Raj Kundra, arrested in connection with a pornography-related case, was dependant on him for basic amenities. “Raj used to ask me for water, biscuits, and cigarettes. Normal water was allowed but not bottled water. I managed to get it for him. It was a tough time for him,” he claimed.
Interestingly, Ajaz expressed disappointment with Kundra for not acknowledging his help. He criticised Raj’s film UT69, which depicted his prison experience, accusing him of omitting key details, including the alleged support Ajaz provided. “He didn’t show the reality of what happened in jail. He forgot the people who helped him,” he said, hinting at a personal grudge.

Many netizens and industry insiders view Ajaz’s statements as an attempt to stay relevant in the media. Critics argue that using high-profile names like Aryan Khan and Raj Kundra to grab headlines is a common tactic, and without concrete proof, his claims remain questionable.
Neither Aryan nor Raj Kundra has responded to Ajaz’s statements, choosing to maintain silence. Meanwhile, Ajaz continues to make waves with his controversial remarks, but whether his claims hold any truth remains a mystery.

Untitled Quentin Tarantino project set to begin filming in December 2025
Mar 21, 2025
Quentin Tarantino is reportedly gearing up for a new film project, according to the latest issue of Production Weekly, a renowned industry-tracking source. The listing suggests that an “Untitled Quentin Tarantino Project” is scheduled to begin shooting in December 2025 in Los Angeles, marking the director’s much-anticipated return to the big screen.
The project credits Tarantino as both writer and director, with producers David Heyman, Shannon McIntosh, and Stacey Sher attached to the film. Tarantino previously collaborated with Heyman’s Heyday Films on his 2019 hit Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.
A Star-Studded Cast?
The only name currently confirmed for the cast is Brad Pitt, who has worked with Tarantino on Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood and Inglourious Basterds. Other big names mentioned in connection with the project include Uma Thurman (famous for her roles in Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction) and Samuel L. Jackson, a frequent Tarantino collaborator known for his roles in several of the director’s most iconic films.
However, while the prospect of this “greatest hits” cast might excite fans, there’s reason to remain cautious. With Thurman and Jackson’s involvement still speculative, and the project itself shrouded in mystery, it could be too early to get carried away.
Is This Tarantino’s Final Film?
The timing of the news raises questions, particularly since it comes just over a year after Tarantino’s so-called final project, The Movie Critic, was scrapped. In April 2024, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that The Movie Critic would not be going ahead, despite it being widely expected to be the director’s swansong.
Adding to the uncertainty, earlier this year Tarantino spoke at the Sundance Film Festival about his work on a stage play, hinting that it might be his final project if it became a hit. He expressed disillusionment with the current state of the film industry, criticising the dominance of streaming services and what he described as the studios’ focus on theatrical releases as mere “show pony exercises” ahead of their streaming debuts. He even admitted, “I didn’t get into all this for diminishing returns.”
Given this context, the new project’s listing on Production Weekly, with a start date of December 2025, feels like a surprise. Fans will likely be curious to know whether Tarantino has had a change of heart about his career trajectory or if this is another project he may walk away from.
Tarantino and Heyman: A proven partnership
David Heyman, one of the producers attached to the untitled project, is no stranger to working with Tarantino. The British producer has a track record of success in the industry, best known for his work on the Harry Potter franchise and Gravity. His previous collaboration with Tarantino on Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood was a critical and commercial hit, earning 10 Oscar nominations and winning two.
This continued partnership with Heyman, along with the involvement of producers Shannon McIntosh and Stacey Sher – both of whom have long-standing relationships with the director – suggests that the untitled project will be another ambitious endeavour.
A grain of salt, or a bucketload?
While the listing on Production Weekly hints at exciting developments, it’s important to take the news with caution. Tarantino is known for keeping fans on their toes, and with his public musings about potentially stepping away from film in favour of theatre, there’s no guarantee this project will reach fruition. The uncertainty surrounding The Movie Critic, which was announced and then scrapped, only adds to the speculation.
As Tarantino’s career has been characterised by bold and unpredictable choices, this untitled project – if it indeed goes ahead – could be another unique entry into his filmography. For now, details remain scarce, and fans will have to wait for further announcements to see if this latest venture will become his next, and potentially final, cinematic masterpiece.

June Sarpong calls for inclusive diversity efforts at British Diversity Awards
Mar 21, 2025
The British Diversity Awards took place on 19 March 2025 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, celebrating individuals and organisations championing diversity and inclusion across the UK.
June Sarpong delivered the keynote address, emphasising the importance of inclusive dialogue in diversity efforts. She addressed the backlash against diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, particularly in the US, and stressed the need to engage all groups in conversations about equality, including white men.
Sarpong referenced a 2017 EY report, stating: "A third of men said they now felt excluded in the workplace. Over a third of men felt that diversity efforts had overlooked white men. Now, of course, we know that white men are still the dominant group when it comes to leadership, so we know that it is not the reality, but perception matters."
She urged attendees to bring more people into the conversation, emphasising that progress requires collaboration.
Among the winners were Monzo, named Company of the Year, and Cindy Ngamba, who won Athlete Powering Positive Change for representing the Refugee Olympic Team.
The event also recognised Kanya King with a Lifetime Achievement Award, while Christine McGuinness was named Media Champion of the Year.
Linda Riley, founder of the British Diversity Awards, addressed concerns about the challenges facing DEI efforts. She said: "Diversity isn’t something you sign up for when it’s convenient. It’s here to stay, and we must keep pushing forward." She stressed the importance of changing the narrative around diversity and using evidence to demonstrate its impact.
The event honoured individuals and organisations for their contributions to diversity and inclusion.
Future Leaders UK was awarded Charity or Not-For-Profit of the Year, while Sky UK Ltd won Diversity Team of the Year.
Gemma Webb (Barratt Redrow) was named Head of Diversity of the Year, and Prasad Hattikudur (Deutsche Bank) won Diversity Champion of the Year.
The Diversity Knows No Discrimination initiative by Paramount won Global Diversity Initiative of the Year, while HSBC UK received the Diversity in Tech (Specific to Disability) award for its HSBC Empathy Box project.

Everything you need to know about IPL 2025: Teams, players, and new rules
Mar 21, 2025
The 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season is set to begin on Saturday, featuring 10 teams playing 70 league matches over the next eight weeks.
The tournament, which will conclude with the final at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens on 25 May, remains one of the biggest T20 leagues in the world.
This season brings several changes, including new captains, squad reshuffles, and emerging young talent. Rajasthan Royals’ 13-year-old batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi could become the youngest player in IPL history, while veterans like Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Ajinkya Rahane continue their IPL journeys.
Title contenders and team changes
Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will be led by Ajinkya Rahane, replacing Shreyas Iyer. KKR will look to start strong as they face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the opening match at Eden Gardens.
RCB, still searching for their first IPL title, will have Rajat Patidar as their new captain, taking over from Faf du Plessis.
Punjab Kings, another team yet to win the IPL, have secured Shreyas Iyer for $3.17 million and named him captain.
Rajasthan Royals, the first-ever IPL winners in 2008, will have Sanju Samson leading the squad. They begin their campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have made a major leadership change, with Ruturaj Gaikwad taking over as captain from Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The 43-year-old Dhoni, who has won five IPL titles with CSK, remains in the squad. CSK will start their campaign against Mumbai Indians on Sunday.
Mumbai Indians continue with Hardik Pandya as captain despite facing fan backlash after replacing Rohit Sharma last year.
Pandya will, however, miss the first game due to a one-match suspension for a slow over-rate from the previous season.
Lucknow Super Giants made the biggest signing at the auction, acquiring Rishabh Pant for $3.21 million. Pant, returning after a life-threatening accident, will be a key player in the tournament.
Rule changes for IPL 2025
Bowlers will be permitted to use saliva to shine the ball in the upcoming Indian Premier League season, local media reported on Thursday.
The practice, which helps fast bowlers generate late swing by polishing one side of the ball while keeping the other rough, was previously barred in the T20 tournament after the International Cricket Council (ICC) introduced a ban during the pandemic as a precautionary measure.
However, reports on Thursday indicated that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has lifted the restriction for the new IPL season starting Saturday, following approval from a majority of team captains.
"The saliva ban has been lifted. The majority of captains were in favour of the move," a senior BCCI official told the Press Trust of India news agency.
One significant change addresses the impact of dew during evening matches. If on-field umpires determine that dew is significantly affecting play, a fresh ball will be introduced from the 11th over of the second innings. However, this rule will not apply to afternoon games.
Another key update involves the Decision Review System (DRS), which has been expanded to cover height wides and off-side wides.
This change aims to ensure more accurate decision-making for deliveries that fall outside the conventional wide-ball framework.
Kohli’s 18th season and RCB’s title bid
RCB veteran Virat Kohli enters his 18th IPL season still in search of his first title. The 36-year-old, who retired from T20 internationals last year, remains RCB’s key player.
Kohli has led RCB to three finals (2009, 2011, 2016), but the team has never won the trophy.
"It's pretty much come down to just the pure joy, enjoyment, competitive streak, and love for the game. And as long as that is there, I will continue to play," Kohli said. "As of now, everything is fine. I still love playing the game."
Fans hope the number 18, Kohli’s IPL jersey number and the number of years since the league’s inception, brings him luck this season.
RCB’s squad includes overseas stars like Josh Hazlewood, Phil Salt, and Liam Livingstone. Last season, RCB made a late push to the playoffs after a slow start, losing seven of their first eight matches.
Emerging talent and youngest IPL player
One of the biggest stories of the season is 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was signed by Rajasthan Royals for $130,500. If he plays, he will become the youngest player in IPL history.
"Vaibhav looks very confident. He was hitting sixes out of the ground," Royals captain Sanju Samson said. "People were already talking about his power-hitting. It's all about understanding his strengths, backing him, and being there for him like an older brother."
Rajasthan Royals, mentored by former India coach Rahul Dravid, also signed England pacer Jofra Archer for $1.48 million.
Sunrisers Hyderabad, last year’s runners-up, will be captained by Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins. Their squad includes Travis Head, Adam Zampa, and England’s Brydon Carse. Sri Lankan pacer Eshan Malinga has also joined the attack.
The IPL, launched in 2008, has become one of cricket's most lucrative leagues, generating billions in revenue for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
With new captains, returning veterans, and young talent, the 2025 season promises to be another competitive edition of the tournament.
