After Turning 30 and Lipstick Under My Burkha, Alankrita Shrivastava is all set for her next directorial titled Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare. The movie stars Konkona Sensharma and Bhumi Pednekar, and it will be getting a direct-to-digital release on Netflix on 18th September 2020.
The makers have unveiled the trailer of the film today and well, it is quite impressive. Alankrita is known for exploring stories revolving around women, and Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare is not an exception. The movie is about the journey of two sisters, Dolly and Kitty. While one is married, the other one is young and free-spirited who works in a call center.
Bhumi Pednekar took to Instagram to share the trailer with her fans. Well, Bhumi and Konkona, both the actresses are amazing in the trailer, and even the lead actors Vikrant Massey and Amol Parashar leave a mark.
While we wait to see what response Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare will get from the audiences, the movie had got a good response at 24th Busan International Film Festival. Bhumi had won the Face of Asia Award at the film festival.
