Golmaal Again

Rohit Shetty is fairly new in the industry compared to other directors. Golmaal Again released in 2017, which is the fourth instalment of the Golmaal franchise which was first released in 2006. All the casts are same as the previous movies, apart from Parineeti Chopra and Tabu. Golmaal Again was the fifth highest grossing Bollywood film of 2017 as well as highest grossing Indian films of all time.


Dilwale

Dilwale released in 2015 which is a romantic comedy film. Everyone was excited for this movie as the lead actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol was sharing the screen after almost five years. Dilwale is about the children of two rival families meeting again after fifteen years.  Even though the movie didn’t do that well in India but it was the sixth highest grossing Indian film overseas.

Singham Returns

Singham Returns released in 2014, which is a sequel of the 2011 movie Singham. This movie is roughly based on 1993 Malayalam movie Ekalavyan. This movie earned worldwide gross collection 216.56 crore.

Chennai Express

Chennai express is an action-comedy film released in 2013. This movie of Rohit Shetty broke a number of box office records in India and other countries. Chennai Express was the second film of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone together after Om Shanti Om which was released in 2007. At the moment Chennai Express is eleventh highest grossing Bollywood film worldwide.

Singham

Singham was released in 2011, which is an action film. This was Rohit Shetty’s first full on action movie and seemed something different in the Indian cinema. This movie is based on how a police officer manages a town which is controlled by gangsters.
