Tiger Shroff to be paid THIS much for a two-part sports drama

According to reports, filmmaker Vikas Bahl has locked his next film after the humongous success of the biographical drama Super 30 (2019) with superstar Hrithik Roshan. The untitled project will be a two-part sports drama. Jackky Bhagnani will produce it under his production house, Pooja Entertainment.

Reportedly, Vikas Bahl has roped in Tiger Shroff in the lead role for his next directorial. Shroff, who was last seen in Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios’ Baaghi 3 (2020), will perform some never-seen-before action stunts in the forthcoming film and he is being paid an astronomical amount for the same.


A source close to the development tells an entertainment portal that the young actor has been paid the highest amount so far in his career for the project. “Jackky was very clear that he wants to put this project together only with Tiger as the hero. He offered the film to the Gen-Y star and he agreed to be part of it. But he is charging to the tune of a whopping ₹30 crore (£3174362.25) for the film. This is the highest he has received for any film so far and the actioner is going to be made in two parts.”

The source goes on to adds, “It has got a unique narrative and revolves around boxing and mixed martial arts, a space that Tiger excels in. It will be a high-octane, adrenaline-pumping action film with Tiger playing a boxer. At heart, it is the story of an underdog and the relationship between a father and son.” The makers are expected to officially announce the project soon.

Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff has Ahmed Khan’s Heropanti 2 and Siddharth Anand’s Rambo on his platter. Heropanti 2, as the title suggests itself, is a sequel to his debut film Heropanti (2014), which also launched Kriti Sanon in Bollywood.
