Tiger Shroff talks about his idol and War co-star Hrithik Roshan

That Tiger Shroff idolizes superstar Hrithik Roshan is not a secret. Ever since Shroff made his debut with Heropanti (2014), he has time and again mentioned about his inestimable admiration for Roshan. After working in Bollywood for five years, Tiger Shroff finally got the chance to work with his idol in Yash Raj Films’ upcoming action entertainer War, and he cannot stop praising the superstar.

“I watched how he works, how much attention he gives to details for every shot. Now, I realise why he is so perfect in everything. He gave me ideas to better the film or my character, which was very sweet of him. He used to direct me in some shots. I am grateful that he is such a giving actor to even his co-actors,” Tiger told a publication. “I have been inspired by him my whole life, ever since I was in school. For me, standing in the same frame as him was a victory in itself,” he added.

Tiger Shroff went on to reveal that how he learnt dancing by watching his steps when he was younger. “I learnt dancing by watching his songs when I was younger. Every night, I used to watch one of his songs before going to sleep and by next morning, I would get his steps, though not to his perfection. As I said, I used to idolise him and his dance especially.”

Also starring Vaani Kapoor in the lead role, War is one of the most anticipated films of 2019. It has been directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The movie is scheduled for a widespread release on 2nd October, 2019.
