Fresh from the earth-shattering success of his recent release Baaghi 2, action star Tiger Shroff has started filming for his upcoming movie Student Of The Year 2. Produced by Dharma Productions, Student Of The Year 2 is a sequel to Karan Johar's 2012 blockbuster Student Of The Year. The second instalment is being helmed by Puneet Malhotra who has to his credit films like I Hate Luv Stories and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.
SOTY 2 mounted the shooting floor today after the mahurat pooja. Dharma Productions revealed the news on their official Twitter handle. STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 - DAY #1 on set. After launching the career of Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt with Student Of The Year, Karan Johar is set to launch two new female faces with Student Of The Year 2. Speculations are rife that Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria have been finalized to play female parts in the sequel. Karan has tweeted that he will reveal the final cast of his production on 11th April.

Student Of The Year 2 is scheduled for its theatrical release on 23rd November 2018.
