Third man charged in Southall murder of Sukhjinder Singh

A THIRD person has been charged with the murder of Sukhjinder Singh in Southall on July 30.

Detectives said Ravinder Singh Shergil, 30, of Colville Close, Tipton was arrested last Saturday (26) and charged on the same day with the murder of 33-year-old Sukhjinder Singh also known as Gurinder Singh.


He is set to appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates’ Court today.

Two men have already been charged with Sukhjinder’s murder: Amandeep Sandhu, 29, of Townsend Road, Southall was charged on August 7 while Palwinder Multani, 35, of Tudor Road, Hayes, was charged on October 7. He was also charged with assisting an offender.

They were remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey for trial on January 16, 2017.

According to guidance on the UK government website, anyone whose last passport was issued before January 1, 1994 must apply for what is classed as a “first adult passport” rather than renewing it in the usual way.
