Sushant to go to Chambal to prep up for his next

Sushant Singh Rajput, who was last seen in Dinesh Vijan's Raabta, is now gearing up for his next untitled film to be directed by Udta Punjab fame Abhishek Chaubey. The actor plays a dacoit in the film which revolves around the 1970’s Chambal dacoits.

To get into the skin of his character, Sushant Singh Rajput will be heading to Chambal three weeks before the regular shooting schedule of the film starts. The actor will meet some dacoits there.

“Sushant is playing a dacoit for the first time and wanted to get into the character before the schedule starts, so he will leave for the location on January 12 to spend time with a few former dacoits. He will also lose some muscle weight to look the rustic part as well as learn rifle shooting. The cast will also have to work on the Bundelkhandi dialect. Abhishek is leaving for Chambal on January 8 for a two-month schedule. This will be followed by a shorter schedule in Mumbai at a later stage," reveals a source.

Besides Sushant Singh Rajput, the untitled film also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. She was last seen in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Manoj Bajpayee and Ranvir Shorey are also part of Abhishek Chaubey's film.
