Has Sonam Kapoor greenlighted the film adaptation of the book, The Zoya Factor?

Sonam Kapoor is one such actress from the current crop of actors in Bollywood, who is consistently proving her versatility with every new film of hers. After winning a lot of awards and accolades for her riveting performance in the movie Neerja, the talented actress is now looking forward to the release of her next film Padman with the megastar Akshay Kumar.

Kapoor has just wrapped up the R Balki directorial and now she will move on to shoot Veere Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar. The film is being produced by her sister Rhea Kapoor and is expected to mount floors in the month of October.

Meanwhile, the news is also coming in that the diva has given her nod to star in the movie adaptation of writer Anuja Chauhan’s book, titled The Zoya Factor. Though no official announcement has been made in this regard, industry sources confirm that the actress is indeed a part of the project.

Interestingly, Sonam was earlier expected to collaborate with Anuja on the movie adaptation of her book, Battle Of Bitora. Her Khoobsurat co-star Fawad Khan was supposed to be the leading man of the film. But due to the sudden rise in tension between India and Pakistan post Uri attacks, the film was shelved.
