Seasoned actress Jaya Bhattacharya in &TV show Badho Bahu

Seasoned actress Jaya Bhattacharya is set to enter the popular show Badho Bahu which airs on &TV. The well-known actress, who has won viewers’ hearts with a diverse range of roles in successful shows such as Thapki Pyar Ki, Kasamh Se and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, will enter Badho Bahu for a special cameo appearance. Her entry will lead to a lot of twists and turns in the storyline of the show.

Revealing some more details, producer Dipti Kalwani says, “The character of Sushma Bua needed a strong actor, performer so we chose Jaya Bhattacharya. She will try to pull Lakha (Prince Narula) and Badho (Rytasha Rathore) apart and try to get Lakha married to Titli (Kanika Mann). The drama will add spice to the show.”

Recently, there were reports that the channel has decided to axe Badho Bahu. But looks like it has been given an extension, prompting makers to introduce a new character to spice up the narrative.
