Salman Khan set to launch new television channel

Salman Khan is one of the most generous stars Bollywood has ever seen. He has been helping people ever since he entered filmdom in 1988.

In 2014, the superstar laid the foundation of his own production house, Salman Khan Films, and has launched several newcomers ever since, including Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, Aayush Sharma, Warina Hussain, Pranutan and Zaheer Iqbal.


He recently branched out to television and produced Sony Entertainment Televisions’ The Kapil Sharma Show, which has been doing great on TRP charts. His next show, a biographical drama on renowned wrestler Gama, is already in the making with several other shows on various stages of development.

As if that was not enough, Khan is now planning to set up his own channel. Yes, you heard that right! The Dabangg actor is soon going to launch his brand new television channel. As per sources, Khan has already appointed a broker who will be carrying out all the deals along with acquiring sufficient content for the channel.

Leona Lewis’s One More Sleep has officially been named the most streamed British Christmas song of the 21st century. The 2013 festive hit, which reached number three on the UK singles chart, has now surpassed 190 million streams in the UK, according to the Official Charts Company.
