Richa Chadha makes the most of lockdown by writing a script

Celebrities have taken to an array of things in order to keep themselves occupied during the lockdown period. While some are spending hours in the kitchen learning how to cook, others are busy reigniting their old hobbies.

Popular Bollywood actress Richa Chadha has also been putting the lockdown period to good use. She has devoted proper time to a variety of things, which include household chores, working- out, reading and writing.

Richa Chadha was working on a couple of ideas for the past few months. However, she was unable to put her thoughts on paper due to the packed schedule. But ever since everybody is put at their homes due to the Coronavirus lockdown, the actress has been focussing on all things that give her immense satisfaction, one of them being writing.

“It all started with penning down a few thoughts and that just soon became an interesting idea. Soon enough, it started looking like a concept I would like to develop. It is a comedy, my favourite genre. The premise is hilarious. The fact that all our lives have come to a screeching halt has made me contemplate the fragility of human existence,” says Chadha.

She goes on to add, “I want to write something that focuses on why people should prioritize what is necessary. Too often we are all so busy chasing things, that we forget to spare a thought for ourselves and what really matters to us. It has been bottled up within me for a long time and the entire lockdown phase has accelerated my creative side. I am just putting together the skeletal structure and will then start looking for a screenplay writer.”
