Ranveer Singh made his Bollywood debut with YRF’s Band Baaja Baaraat which was directed by Maneesh Sharma and also starred Anushka Sharma in the lead role. The film was a hit at the box office, and Ranveer’s performance was loved by one and all.

For his performance in the film, Ranveer won the Best Debut award at all the award functions. Today, Band Baaja Baaraat completes 10 years of its release which means even Ranveer completes a decade in the industry.

The actor visited a theatre to celebrate his decade in Bollywood. He posted a picture of himself and captioned it as, “To commemorate my 10 year milestone in the movies....it was only fitting that I return to the sacred chamber of dreams ?? it was marvellous ✨.”

In these 10 years, Ranveer has proved his mettle as an actor and as a star. He has featured in successful films like Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Dil Dhadakne Do, Padmaavat, Gully Boy and others.

Talking about his upcoming films, Ranveer will next be seen in 83. The Kabir Khan directorial was slated to release in April this year, but was postponed due to the pandemic. Reportedly, the film will now release in the first quarter of 2021.

Apart from 83, Ranveer has Jayeshbhai Jordar ready for a release, and he is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus. The actor was also supposed to star in Karan Johar’s Takht, however, reportedly, the film has been put on a backburner.
