Rani Mukerji to turn to direction in 2020?

Rani Mukerji is undoubtedly one of the finest actresses Bollywood has ever seen since coming into existence. The actress, who began her acting career in 1996, has an impressive list of credits to her name.

After spending over two decades in front of the camera, Rani is, reportedly, planning to go behind the camera and direct a film. Yes, according to latest reports, the award-winning actress is set to make her directorial debut with a film which may roll into cinemas in late 2020.


Rani, who was last seen in Hichki (2018), is currently shooting for her next film, Mardaani 2. The action entertainer is a sequel to her 2014 film, Mardaani, which was a critical as well as commercial success. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie is being helmed by Gopi Puthran.

The actress has always given her hundred percent to whatever she does. We are sure that she will pick up an interesting subject to make her directorial debut.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
