Rajkummar Rao to slide into Dharmendra’s shoes for Chupke Chupke remake?

An actor is never too busy to be part of a great script. And the same has been proved by National Film Award winner Rajkummar Rao. The Newton (2017) actor has around half a dozen films in his pocket, but that does not stop him from signing a new project if the idea really arrests his attention.

Speculations are rife that Rajkummar Rao has given his nod to headline the remake of cult Bollywood film, Chupke Chupke (1975). The actor has been signed on to play the character which was originally played by evergreen Dharmendra.

Spilling some beans on the project, a source divulges, “Chupke Chupke is an iconic film and a favourite of many, including Rajkummar. He loved the idea of a remake and has agreed to come onboard. It will have Raj in the dual avatars. The script is still being finalised, while the director and the rest of the cast are yet to be locked, but the team is really excited about this one.”

Reportedly, the film will be co-produced by Luv Ranjan and Bhushan Kumar.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is presently busy filming Made In China, Turram Khan and Rooh-Afza. He will soon start promoting his upcoming film, Mental Hai Kya, which also stars Kangana Ranaut.

Bruce Willis will always be associated with John McClane, but Die Hard is hardly the only place where the actor made his mark on the thriller genre.

Across the 1990s and 2000s, Willis moved between time-travel mysteries, supernatural dramas, neo-noirs and action thrillers, often using the same understated intensity that made him such a recognisable screen presence. Rotten Tomatoes scores show that some of his most highly regarded work came when he stepped away from the role of the conventional action hero.
