Police appeal for the public's help to find girl who racially attacked bus passenger

Police on Sunday (22) released the picture of a girl who hurled racist abuse at an man on a bus on September 14.

Commuters were left horrified when the girl made racist remarks against a man on a bus in West London.


The girl started screaming at the passenger after her mother got into an argument with the bus driver.

The passenger reportedly became irritated by the girl's behavior towards the bus driver, and asked her mother to restrain her. When her mother proceeded to dissuade her from shouting, the girl responds, "no let me hit."

The girl then shouted at the man: "You smell of curry you dumb b**** go back to your f****** Southall slum!"

The Metropolitan Police have appealed for the public's help in tracking the woman down.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for witnesses after a man was racially abused on a bus.

“The investigation was launched after a video of the incident circulated on social media and was reported in the Press. The video shows a women arguing with a man and using racist language.'

They added: “Officers want witnesses to the incident, or anyone who can provide information about the people involved to come forward.

“Initial inquiries have been made with the bus company.”

BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman on Saturday (27) completed the process to register as a voter in Bangladesh and apply for a national identity (NID) card, two days after returning from more than 17 years of self-exile in London.

The 60-year-old leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) visited the Election Commission (EC) office in Dhaka under tight security, where he provided fingerprints and iris scans as part of the biometric process, news portal tbsnews.net reported.
