Mohsin Khan on rumours of rift between him and Shivangi Joshi

Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi make one of the most popular couples on Indian television. The duo became household names after fronting the lead cast of Star Plus’ long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Produced by Ranjan Shahi, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been one the top-rated shows not only on Star Plus but amongst all rival channels also, and a lot of credit goes to the sizzling chemistry of its lead pair.

Reportedly, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi have been seeing each another for quite some time now. But speculations have been rife lately that the couple has called it quits. Some media outlets even went on to report that recently Mohsin Khan refused to share a vanity van with Shivangi.

However, when Khan was asked about the same, he did not only refute all the baseless rumours but also praised Shivangi for being the thorough professional that she is. “I have no problems with her. It has been four years of us working together and I find her a thorough professional,” said the young actor who enjoys a massive fan following.

About the vanity van issue, the actor clarified, “We were shooting for a fight sequence in which we had to get into mud. So, the vanity van section which I was provided with didn’t have a bathroom where I could take a shower and it was on the other side of the van. That’s why I asked the production to allot me the portion with bathing area. I have never demanded for a single door vanity van. In fact, today also I am sharing a vanity with Shivangi. All I can say is somebody is trying to divert attention from our hard work and prove us unprofessional.”

Well, we hope Mohsin Khan’s reaction puts an end to all those baseless rumours stating the duo has separated.

What Britain’s ban on strangulation porn really means and why campaigners say it could backfire

Highlights:

  • Government to criminalise porn that shows strangulation or suffocation during sex.
  • Part of wider plan to fight violence against women and online harm.
  • Tech firms will be forced to block such content or face heavy Ofcom fines.
  • Experts say the ban responds to medical evidence and years of campaigning.

You see it everywhere now. In mainstream pornography, a man’s hands around a woman’s neck. It has become so common that for many, especially the young, it just seems like part of sex, a normal step. The UK government has decided it should not be, and soon, it will be a crime.

The plan is to make possessing or distributing pornographic material that shows sexual strangulation, often called ‘choking’, illegal. This is a specific amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill. Ministers are acting on the back of a stark, independent review. That report found this kind of violence is not just available online, but it is rampant. It has quietly, steadily, become normalised.
