Besides Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao, Mental Hai Kya also stars Amyra Dastur and Jimmy Sheirgill in important roles. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is also expected to appear in a special appearance in the movie.

Mental Hai Kya is directed renowned Telugu filmmaker, Prakash Kovelamudi.
