Last seen in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed magnum opus Padmaavat (2018), Deepika Padukone will next star in filmmaker Meghna Gulzar’s forthcoming directorial venture. The project, which is still untitled, is inspired from the true-life events of acid-attack survivor Lakshmi Agarwal. The latest update on the much-talked-about project is that Gulzar has roped in National award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao to play the male lead opposite Deepika Padukone.
