By Sheila Solanki

AN exclusive preview evening of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Hampton Court Palace Garden festival will allow guests to view the show before it opens to the public, it has been confirmed.

Due to take place on July 5, the preview evening will let visitors see the displays prior to the general opening. Exclusive live music performances and dining experiences will also be available.

The evening will feature speakers, such as garden designer Tom Stuart-Smith, writer Charles Dowding and gardener Stephanie Hafferty, who will share tips on creating the perfect garden.

A fireworks display ushered in with a live drumming show by Box9 Drumline will end the event.

The show, which opens to the public on July 6, will showcase the famous Festival of Roses, as well as a variety of garden shows. Themes include sustainability and wellbeing, using green spaces to reconnect with nature and loved ones.

A floral marquee and plant village will allow guests to shop for their favourite plants, as well as seek advice free of charge from RHS specialist growers. Demonstrations and workshops will be part of the festival schedule.
