Kettan Singh: I want to be an actor for whom all emotions come naturally!

Actor Kettan Singh, who plays a triple role in Siddharth Kumar Tewary and Rahul Kumar Tewary's Shankar Jai Kishen 3 in 1, says that he has been getting an amazing response for the show. In fact, he says that all three characters have been loved equally by his fans. “The response so far that I get from all the people and my family has been overwhelming. I get to know their response from the social network where they shower so much of love on me. They often write to me about how they relate to the three characters so well, they find them funny, loving, whacky, all at the same time,” he says.

Ask him what is the best compliment that he has got so far, and he says, "The best compliment by far is ‘Kettan you are mad, keep this madness alive," he says.

Playing one character in a show can be tough, so playing a triple role was challenging for Kettan initially. “It was difficult initially, but with the time, it has gotten better. It is not that it's easy now, but I am getting used to it. The rest is all the director’s game. I do improvise but not without the director's consent,” he says.

The atmosphere on the sets also helps Kettan. “I bond with the whole family on the set. There's not one person on set who I don’t like, I adore them completely. They always support me and give me a lot of love,” he says.

Kettan says that it’s great working with Siddharth and co-producer Rahul Kumar Tewary. “This is the first time that I am working with them. They have been very comforting and supportive since this is also my first show as the lead. Although I don't get to interact with them often, they have always appreciated my work and I respect them,” he says.

Ask him if comedy comes naturally to him, and he says, “I want to be an actor for whom all emotions come naturally, so I would let you be the judge of whether my drama or comedy come naturally or not and strive to be a better actor and person."
