Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii season 2 in the works

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki are three iconic TV series which established producer Ekta Kapoor as the numero uno queen of Indian television. All three shows, which aired around the same time on Star Plus, were hugely popular among the audience and ran for almost a decade.

According to sources, after announcing a sequel to Kasautii Zindagii Kay, producer Ekta Kapoor is now planning the next season of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. Yes, you heard that right! Soon there might be KGGK 2.

Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, which hit the airwaves in 2000, continued its glorious run for eight years. The show was toplined by immensely talented Sakshi Tanwar. After the thunderous success of the show, Tanwar became a household name across India with many of her fans still recognizing her by her character name of Parvati. The actress will return to season 2 of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki for a special appearance.“She will be the narrator and set the content for the first few episodes. However, the makers are yet to take a call on whether it will air on TV or Ekta’s digital platform,” adds a source.

The lead cast is yet to be finalized.

Preity Zinta has moved a step closer to taking legal action against Google, Meta and several other entities after the Bombay High Court granted her permission to file a civil suit over the alleged misuse of her identity online.

The actor's proposed case centres on claims that AI-generated deepfakes, altered images, chatbot personas and other forms of digital content have been created and circulated without her consent, infringing on her rights and damaging her reputation.
