India’s Raw Star to Bollywood playback singer: Darshan Raval

Darshan is one of the youngest playback singers of Indian cinema. He became known after participating in the reality show India’s Raw Star and finished as the 1st runner up.

Before making his Bollywood debut, he released two singles. The singles were Meri Pehli Mohabbat and Ishq Chada Hai.


Darshan’s Bollywood debut was for the movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015. He sung the song Jub Tum Chaho along with Palak Muchhal and Mohammed Irfan.

He sung for the TV series Phir Bhi Na Maane…Badtameez Dil. All the songs in the drama were sung by him including Mere Nishan, which were the most popular song of the drama.

Two song of Darshan that was released this year were Chogada for Loveyatri and Kamariya for Mitron. Both songs were loved by the audiences due to the release of them near the time of Navratri.
