Hina Khan on a roll; bags a new plum project

Hina Khan is on a roll these days! Just a few months back, she stole many hearts with her appearance at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2019. She had attended the festival for the screening of her debut film Lines (2019). Right after the premiere of her debut film, Hina Khan started shooting for her second project, Wish List.

The latest we hear that the gorgeous actress has signed a new film The Country Of The Blind, based on a book by the same name. Revealing details, an Indian publication reports that The Country Of The Blind is an Indo-Hollywood film, where Khan will be essaying a visually challenged girl.

Khan also attended a blind school workshop as part of the preparation for her role. Sharing her experience she said, “Eyes are our window to the world, but I also feel that when God takes away something, he blesses you with many other things. These individuals are capable of achieving so much more than others.”

Hina is trying to create her own niche in the Hindi film industry. Instead of waiting for roles opposite A-list actors, the actress emphasizes on doing roles where one has scope to perform. “Most girls, who want to become film actresses, look for roles in commercial movies. But every actress can’t wait forever to land a role opposite a big Bollywood actor. Also, I think that it’s important to be part of a film that has scope for you to perform. That is the reason I chose to debut with Lines, and now, I’m doing The Country of The Blind.”

Fans who were waiting for her return on popular soap opera Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 on Star Plus, should know that Khan has no plans to stage a comeback on the small screen just yet. “Currently, I am busy with my movie projects and I don’t think that I will be a part of the show anytime soon. But, you never know what the future has in store for you.”
