Kareena Kapoor Khan gives green light for Happy Bhag Jayegi 3

Buzz has it that producer Aanand L Rai has decided to take the Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016) franchise forward with yet another instalment. Yes, you heard that right! Plans are on for Happy Bhag Jayegi 3.

Interestingly, the second part of the series Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi (2018) is yet to roll in theatres, but the makers have already begun casting process for Happy Bhag Jayegi 3. And if fresh reports are to be believed, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been approached for the movie.


Kareena, who was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding (2018), is also rumoured to be starring in Dharma Productions’ upcoming venture. While we await more details on her project with Kjo, we hear that Mudassar Aziz, director of Happy Bhag Jayegi and Happy Phirr Jayegi, has already narrated the script for Happy Bhag Jayegi 3 to Kareena.

Reportedly, the actress has verbally agreed to do the movie. We also hear that Kareena Kapoor Khan might be seen in a cameo in Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. An official announcement regarding the third instalment is awaited.

Produced by Colour Yellow Productions, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi stars Diana Penty and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles.

The movie releases on 24th August, 2018.
