Fatima Sana Shaikh teams up with Vishal Bhardwaj for a music video titled Palkein Kholo

Fatima Sana Shaikh, who had impressed us with her performance in Dangal, will be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s music video titled Palkein Kholo. She has not just featured in the video but has also directed herself in it.

Recently, the actress took to Instagram to inform everyone about the track. She posted, “Aakashvaani. Palkein Kholo coming on 3rd September on @vbmusiclabel. Stay tuned! #PalkeinKholo #VishalBhardwaj #BashirBadr @vishalrbhardwaj @tarsamemittal @onedigitalentertainment.”


While talking about the song, Fatima said, “The song is about appreciating people around us during these unprecedented times. I’ve been pestering Vishal sir to make a film with me and when he made me this offer, I jumped at it. Vishal sir asked me for my inputs, then, gave me the freedom to shoot the music video the way I wanted.”

The song also features her dog and talking about it, the actress said, “Even Bijli makes an appearance in the song. She’s lucky to debut in Vishal Bharadwaj music video. Even if she steals the limelight, I would be a proud mother.”

Fatima also shared a small teaser of the song which will be released tomorrow.

Talking about her movies, the actress’ next film Ludo will get a direct-to-digital release on Netflix. Apart from Ludo, she has Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari in her kitty which also stars Manoj Bajpayee and Diljit Dosanjh.

Filmmaker steps away from YRF’s action franchise

Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji has stepped away from Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) highly anticipated action project Dhoom 4, reportedly due to creative differences. According to Bollywood Hungama, Mukerji’s vision for the film did not align with the studio’s direction, prompting him to withdraw from the project.

Mukerji, who was in discussions to direct the next instalment of the hit franchise—expected to star Ranbir Kapoor—was said to have limited control over the script, which was reportedly written by Shridhar Raghavan. The director, best known for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra, was keen on shaping the film creatively rather than simply executing an existing plan.
