Farhan Akhtar croons a Telugu song for Mahesh Babu

After lending his voice to many Bollywood numbers, filmmaker-actor-singer Farhan Akhtar has now sung a Telugu song. Titled 'I Don't Know', the song will be included in South superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming political-thriller, Bharat Ane Nenu, which stars Kiara Advani as the female lead.

Akhtar and Babu have been good friends for a long time now. So when the latter approached Farhan for the song, he readily agreed to come onboard.

“It is a fast-paced, catchy number and will introduce Mahesh Babu’s character in the film. The makers have also shot a behind the- scenes video with Farhan at the recording studio which will be released separately,” adds a source.

The song has been composed by celebrated composer-lyricist- singer-director Devi Sri Prasad. Picturised on Mahesh Babu and Kiara Advani, the song has been recently shot in Spain.

Bharat Ane Nenu, directed by Koratala Siva, is poised for its theatrical release on April 20.

Harshvardhan Rane stirs feud with Hocane for publicity

In the long and undistinguished annals of Bollywood mediocrity, Harshvardhan Rane holds a curious place. Neither a major star nor a complete unknown, he has hovered on the periphery of stardom for nearly a decade.

Despite having almost exclusively delivered flops, he has somehow managed to stay in the news. His latest brush with relevance comes via an unnecessary controversy, wrapped in nationalistic chest-thumping and petty social media drama.

Aishwarya Rai’s Gita-inspired cape and Helen Mirren slip make for a Cannes moment to remember

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s return to the Cannes red carpet in 2025 wasn’t just about fashion, but a mix of poise, heritage, and a small moment of real-life awkwardness that she turned into grace.

For her second red carpet appearance this year, Aishwarya arrived in a dramatic black gown paired with an ivory Banarasi brocade cape. The cape, handwoven in Varanasi, bore a powerful Sanskrit verse from the Bhagavad Gita. It was a rare and classy mix of traditional craftsmanship meeting high fashion, with spiritual thought stitched into the very fabric.

Charli XCX wins songwriter of the year at 2025 Ivor Novello Awards as jury praises her bold storytelling

Charli XCX, known for her music and rebellious spirit, has just been named Songwriter of the Year at the 2025 Ivor Novello Awards. Held at London’s Grosvenor House, the ceremony recognised the people behind the music, including those who write the lyrics, shape the melodies, and craft the tunes that stick with us. And this year, it was Charli’s moment.

In a cheeky acceptance speech, she quoted lyrics from her own song Club Classics: “I wanna dance to me, me, me…” and followed it up by saying, “I’m hardly Bob Dylan.” But behind the humour was a clear truth: she’s worked hard to create something uniquely her own. Her 2024 album Brat captured both chaos and honesty, mixing club-ready beats with raw questions about fame, identity, and relationships. It was not just a hit on the charts; it sparked a wider cultural moment. Even the word “brat” made it into the Collins Dictionary’s Word of the Year.

Salman Khan’s Mumbai home targeted twice in 24 hours as two arrested for trespassing despite tight security

Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai, faced two security breaches this week after a man and a woman tried to enter his building on separate occasions. Both individuals have since been taken into custody by the Bandra police and booked for trespassing.

The first incident occurred on Tuesday morning when 23-year-old Jitendra Kumar Singh, who had travelled from Chhattisgarh, was found lingering near the actor’s residence. When asked to leave by security personnel, Singh became agitated and smashed his phone. Later that evening, he managed to sneak inside the Galaxy Apartments compound by following a car into the premises. Security guards apprehended him before he could reach the actor and handed him over to the police. During questioning, Singh reportedly said he just wanted to meet Khan, but security wouldn't let him in.
