Has Ekta Kapoor shifted Naagin 3 from Colors to Star Plus?

After the humongous success of two seasons, Ekta is gearing up to launch the third instalment of her highly popular fantasy soap, Naagin 3. Since the first two seasons aired on Colors, fans were glued to the screen, hoping to catch the first episode of the next season on the same channel as it had already started airing the teaser of the show. But if reports are to be believed, there has been a major change in the plan.

According to reports, Star Plus, another leading general entertainment channel, has acquired the rights for the next instalment of Naagin, instead of Colors which aired the first two seasons. Yes, Naagin 3 will hit the airwaves on Star Plus, not Colors.

A source reveals, “Naagin is an interesting series and has helped Colors in terms of cementing its position as one of the top channels. However, Star Plus bid higher for the third season and therefore managed to clinch the supernatural show”.

“Star is planning to revamp the channel and wants to include a number of fiction shows. Goes without saying, Naagin 3 is a great catch and they bid such a price that it closed doors for Colors,” the source added.

The first two seasons of Naagin were headlined by Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan. However, Naagin 3 will feature a new set of actors.

  • 12 Monkeys and The Sixth Sense also rank among his strongest-reviewed films
  • The list spans sci-fi thrillers, supernatural mysteries, neo-noir and action films

Bruce Willis will always be associated with John McClane, but Die Hard is hardly the only place where the actor made his mark on the thriller genre.

Across the 1990s and 2000s, Willis moved between time-travel mysteries, supernatural dramas, neo-noirs and action thrillers, often using the same understated intensity that made him such a recognisable screen presence. Rotten Tomatoes scores show that some of his most highly regarded work came when he stepped away from the role of the conventional action hero.
