Disha Patani on reteaming with Salman Khan for Radhe

In 2019, Disha Patani featured alongside Salman Khan in Bharat. It was the first time when she shared the screen space with the superstar. The audience loved their chemistry, especially in the song ‘Slow Motion’ which became a huge hit and dominated the charts for several months.

In one of her previous interviews, Disha Patani had said that she agreed to do Bharat because she thought that she would never get another opportunity to feature alongside Khan in future. However, call it destiny, Patani is now playing the female lead opposite Salman Khan in his upcoming film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.

Talking to a newswire, the actress said that she was on cloud nine when the opportunity to star in Radhe knocked at her doors. "Considering the fact that Salman sir is such a huge star in Bollywood for years, never have I ever imagined that I will get another chance to work with him again, after Bharat. When the film worked, I was just happy with the fact that I had worked with Salman Khan. However, when the opportunity for Radhe came, I was on cloud nine. I loved the story and working again with sir! I think along with my hard work, everything is happening also because of good fortune.”

Patani is presently busy promoting her upcoming film Malang wherein she plays the female lead opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. In the movie, she performs action also, something that the actress loves a lot.

"If I talk about my habit of watching films, I watched a lot of action and horror film while growing up. I love watching bad girls who kick ass and punch the boys! So, action is definitely something I love doing. In Malang, too, I got a chance to do action. I think my body is quite agile and that is an advantage whenever I try stunts or adventure sports,” she concluded.

Also starring Kunal Khemu and Anil Kapoor in lead roles, Malang is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 7th February, 2020.
