Deepika Padukone opens up about her next

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is going places! After the thunderous success of her last release, Padmaavat, the gorgeous actress bagged a place in the coveted list of Time's 100 Most Influential People of 2018 and, most recently, she graced the cover of the Things Magazine.

As we all know that right after the release of Padmaavat, DP was set to begin work on Vishal Bharadwaj's next directorial venture, also starring Irrfan Khan. However, the makers had to put the film on hold due to the deteriorating health of Irrfan Khan.

Though it is yet not finalized that as to when the movie will mount the shooting floor, Padukone is quite excited about it. Talking about the movie, she said, "There is a film that I will begin working on soon, it doesn’t have a title yet but it’s based on a true story from one of the mafia queens. It’s actually a chapter from a book called The Mafia Queens of Mumbai. There is no title yet but there are references of a woman who, I would say, was extremely brave in doing what she did, and I just thought it was a very very expiring story and a story that needed to be shared."

Reportedly, Deepika is also being considered for Aamir Khan's Mahabharata.
