British Library sends India gifts

A copy of the Magna Carta

The British Library is sending a copy of the Magna Carta to the Jaipur Literary Festival and Shakespeare’s First Folio to a museum in Mumbai as part of the UK-India Year of Culture 2017. The year of culture was agreed between Narendra Modi and David Cameron when the Indian prime minister visited the UK in November last year.
