Talented actor Boman Irani, who is currently in news for setting up his own moviemaking banner, Irani Movietone, has been signed on to play an important role in filmmaker Omung Kumar’s next directorial venture PM Narendra Modi.

PM Narendra Modi, as the title suggests itself, is a biopic on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chronicles his rise from the Chief Minister of Gujarat to one of the most powerful leads in the world. The film stars Vivek Oberoi in the titular role.

“It’s a strong team comprising Sandip Ssingh, Omung Kumar and Vivek Anand Oberoi and I am looking forward to working with them. This has been a great start to my New Year and I am looking forward to this remarkable journey.” Boman said in a statement.

Sandip Ssingh, the producer of the movie, also expressed his happiness over Boman joining the cast of his project. “I believe a strong cast is a foundation to making a great film. We are very excited to have such amazing actors on board and I can’t wait to begin shooting,” said the producer.

PM Narendra Modi is expected to begin production in the first week of February.

Talking about other projects of Boman, the actor will shortly be seen in Indra Kumar’s comic-caper Total Dhamaal, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, etc.
