Bhushan Kumar and Anurag Basu team up for an action comedy

T-Series head Bhushan Kumar and acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Basu have joined hands for an upcoming action comedy film. The untitled project will tell four different stories set against the backdrop of urban setting.

The film is a multi-starrer featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra and Pankaj Tripathi. Abhishek Bachchan, who is teaming up with Anurag Basu for the first time, has already completed major sequences in Mumbai and Kolkata last year. Basu was busy shooting with Rajkummar and Fatima in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) recently.

Speaking on the film, director Anurag Basu says, “It’s my pleasure to be working with Mr. Bhushan Kumar for my next that is a dark comic anthology. It’s our first collaboration but doesn’t seem like one. I am extremely happy to have found this talented new generation cast, though I will trust my old friend Pritam for music as always!”

Besides Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra and Pankaj Tripathi, several other actors will join the cast very soon. Casting process is presently underway.

The yet-to-be-titled film will release on 6th September 2019.
