After Befikre, Ranveer to team up with Aditya Chopra again

Buzz has it that Ranveer Singh might team up with his mentor Aditya Chopra once again after their 2016 film, Befikre. Also starring Vaani Kapoor in the lead role, Befikre was not a commercially successful film but looks like that cannot stop the Padmaavat star from joining his hands with the Yash Raj Films' head honcho again.

According to reports, the duo has recently met to discuss the new project. “Adi and Ranveer have met and extensively discussed their next film together. It will be a contemporary theme but not a sexually-charged film like Befikre. It will be more in the tradition of Yash Raj Films. Ranveer will play a lovable family guy, whom everyone from the daadi (grandmother) to the didi (sister) dotes on,” said a source.

Meanwhile, Singh is currently shooting for his forthcoming film Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt, with whom he is teaming up for the first time. Apart from Gully Boy, he also has Kabir Khan's 83 and Rohit Shetty's Simmba in his hands.
