Ayushmann Khurrana, one of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood, has joined forces with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) fame actress Nushrat Bharucha for a new film, titled Dream Girl.

Khurrana, who added two superhit films to his credit in 2018 – Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho – shared the news on his Instagram account, where he wrote, “Of every possible role, this one, I'd be honest, would have never crossed my mind! But here I am, to play a role in and as Dream Girl."

Dream Girl will be helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. Ekta Kapoor is producing the film under Balaji Motion Pictures banner. She took to Twitter to announce the project and wrote, "You wouldn't have thought of this even in your wildest 'Dreams'. Presenting Ayushmann Khurrana in and as Dream Girl.”

Nushrat Bharucha, who has previously worked with Ekta Kapoor, says it is a homecoming of sorts for her. "After working with Ekta in the past, this is a homecoming of sorts for me. I am excited to work with Ayushmann for this comedy entertainer. Interestingly, this year has been favourable for strong content-driven films, and this film will, hopefully, continue this tide."

This is the first time when Nushrat Bharucha is teaming up with Ayushmann Khurrana for a film. She is also doing a movie with National award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao, titled Turram Khan.

Bruce Willis will always be associated with John McClane, but Die Hard is hardly the only place where the actor made his mark on the thriller genre.

Across the 1990s and 2000s, Willis moved between time-travel mysteries, supernatural dramas, neo-noirs and action thrillers, often using the same understated intensity that made him such a recognisable screen presence. Rotten Tomatoes scores show that some of his most highly regarded work came when he stepped away from the role of the conventional action hero.
