Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan to reunite onscreen

Whenever Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have worked together, they have created magic on celluloid. They have starred together in over half a dozen movies, including such smashing hits as Mohabbatein (2000), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Veer-Zara (2004) and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (2006) among others. Apart from great storylines, exquisite locations and indelible songs, what has made these blockbusters memorable are splendid performances by Big B and SRK.

However, it has been quite a long time since both the superstars have not done a movie together. They last did BR Studios’ Bhootnath in 2008, where Khan was seen in a special appearance. If you too missed these two acting greats on celluloid all these years, here is the exciting news for you!

According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan will do a special appearance in Amitabh Bachchan’s forthcoming film Badla. Also starring Taapsee Pannu, the movie is produced by Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment. Well, if reports are true, it will be interesting to see the two cine legends collaborating again after a decade.

“Shah Rukh will shoot for Badla after Zero releases on December 21. Initially, his role was planned as a cameo, but the makers decided to extend it. Shah Rukh will be seen as Taapsee's husband and his character will be integral to the narrative,” a film trade magazine reports.

However, when the film’s director Sujoy Ghosh was contacted to confirm the news, he said, “He is? Nobody tells me anything."

Badla is set to release on 8th March, 2019.

Graham Norton's legal victory against Meta is attracting attention beyond the entertainment world. The broadcaster successfully obtained a court order in California requiring the social media giant to disclose information that could identify the operator of an anonymous Facebook page accused of spreading false claims and deepfake content about him.

According to court filings, the account published fabricated stories about Norton's health, his husband and even falsely claimed that his mother had died. While the case centres on a high-profile television personality, its wider significance lies in what it could mean for others facing similar online attacks.
