Akshay Kumar vs Deepika Padukone vs Ajay Devgn at the box office

Box office clashes in Bollywood are nothing new now. Two biggies can release on the same day and do well at the box office. However, we cannot ignore that it affects the collection of both films because the screens get distributed.

This year, we have already seen many box office clashes and in the coming months, there are more clashes that are going to take place. But well, one box office clash of 2021 is already making it to headlines.

This morning Ajay Devgn announced that he will be seen in the Hindi remake of Kaithi which is slated to release on 12th February 2021. He tweeted, “Yes, I’m doing the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kaithi. Releases on February 12, 2021 Folded hands @RelianceEnt @DreamWarriorpic @ADFFilms @Shibasishsarkar #SRPrakashbabu @prabhu_sr @Meena_Iyer.”

Now interestingly on the same day, there are two more films slated to hit the screens. Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush starrer Atrangi Re will be hitting the screens during the Valentine’s Day weekend which is 12th February 2021.

Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s untitled film, which is being produced by Karan Johar and will be directed by Shakun Batra, is also slated to release on 12th February 2021. Karan Johar shares a great rapport with Ajay and Akshay, so, it won’t be surprising if he decides to change the release date of his movie to avoid the clash.

It will be interesting to see if this box office clash will take place or it will be avoided. Let’s wait and watch.
