Aftab Shivdasani tests negative for Covid-19, says ‘this illness is very treatable’

On 11th September 2020, actor Aftab Shivdasani has posted on Instagram that he has been tested positive for COVID-19. Today, the actor took to social media to inform his fans that he has been finally tested negative.

Aftab posted a note and captioned it as, “Grateful. ❤️✨?? Om Sai Ram. Allah Malik.”


The note reads, “Hi everyone, I am happy and relieved to be sharing with all of you that I did my Covid test again and by the grace of God, the reports came negative. Thank you for all your support and good wishes. Please know that this illness is very treatable and less than 20% cases are severe and need hospitalisation. Most of the people recover with medication at home so please do not panic even if unfortunately you get it. I once again humbly request and reiterate the important of maintaining social distance, using masks and sanitisers until the pandemic is over. Stay safe and protect your loved ones. Love, Aftab.”

Talking about Aftab’s upcoming projects, the actor is all set to make his digital debut with Poison 2 on Zee5. The web series will start streaming on the OTT platform on 16th October 2020.

In July this year, the actor had announced his production venture titled Dhundh. He had posted on Instagram, “‘Evil Has An Address, Your Mind.’ The Mind works in mysterious ways. Excited to present #Dhundh our first production in association with @mandiraa_ent . @dhundhthefilm @nin_dusanj @mountzenmedia #PrernaVArora @ikussum #girishjohar @d_reshabh @Ikeyurpandya @sanjeetyermal.”
