Deepika Padukone impressed one and all with her performance in this year’s release Chhapaak. The Meghna Gulzar’s directorial got Deepika back on the big screen after two years. Before Chhapaak, she was seen in Padmaavat which released in January 2018.

Well, of course, fans of Deepika missed her a lot on the big screen, but now, in 2021, they will surely get to see a lot of the actress. She will be seen in 83 in which she plays the role of Romi Dev, Kapil Dev’s wife. The film is ready for a release, but due to the pandemic, it has been postponed.

The actress is currently shooting for Shakun Batra’s next, and according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the shoot of the film will be wrapped up soon. After Batra’s next, she will jump to Pathan which will be shot till the mid-next year.

A source told the tabloid, “Pathan will be shot till the mid-next year, but Deepika will start work on Nag Ashwin’s next directorial with Prabhas in the first quarter of 2021. A futuristic sci-fi with lots of thrills, it will also have her performing some daredevil stunts.”.

Moving further, by mid-2021, Deepika will kickstart the remake of the Hollywood film The Intern. The movie was supposed to star Rishi Kapoor, but it is not yet announced which actor will now be roped in for the film.

The source further stated, “2021 will be the first year since 2013 when Deepika will juggle multiple films. After completing these assignments by the year-end, she’ll jump into the period epic, Mahabharat. Deepika plays the role of Draupadi and will get into extensive prep for it, before rolling it by early 2022. She will devote almost half the year to it.”

Well, clearly 2021 will be a busy year for Deepika.
