Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka to be replaced by Rajshri Productions’ next

According to the latest reports, Star Plus is set to end its recently launched fantasy series Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka in the month of February. If you thought that the show has failed to grab audiences’ attention and hence the channel has decided to pull the plug on it, then think again!

As per sources, the show was always planned to run for just 100 episodes, which it will be completing in February. “Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka launched in October and has been produced to run for 100 episodes. If all goes well, the series will end in February 2020 by the new show,” reveals a source close to the development.

The latest we hear that one of the leading production houses, Rajshri Productions, is working on a new show called Dadi Amma Dadi Jaag Jao, which is expected to replace Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka in February next year.

According to sources, Dadi Amma Dadi Jaag Jao boasts of an ensemble cast which includes the likes of Sheen Dass, Anagha Bhosle and Seema Biswas. Seema Biswas has been roped in to play the grandmother on the show. Khalid Siddiqui, Shilpa Tulaskar and Mohan Joshi are also a part of the cast.

We have also learnt that the opening schedule of Dadi Amma Dadi Jaag Jao has already been shot in Indore. “It is very good to be part of the limited series with a possibility of Season 2. It has a very good story and every middle-class family will identify with,” informs the source.

The source goes on to add, “At first, this show which was in the work for long was supposed to have come on Star Bharat but now apparently has shifted base to Star Plus.”

An official announcement is awaited.
