Taapsee Pannu starrer Game Over set for a massive release worldwide

Riding high on the humongous success of her latest Bollywood film Badla (2019), Taapsee Pannu is now waiting for the release of her next movie, Game Over. Written and directed by Ashwin Saravanan, the film has been primarily made in Tamil and Telugu, but it will see a huge release in Hindi also.

The trailer of the film, which was released a couple of days ago, impressed one and all. It certainly succeeded in piquing the curiosity of the audience. The film is being described by the makers as a genre-bending thriller. Produced by S. Sashikanth under the banner of YNOT Studios, Game Over is scheduled to hit the silver screen on June 14 in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

Well-known filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has joined forces with producers S Sashikanth and Chakravarthy Ramachandra to release the film in the Hindi belt. “We are very glad to announce that our film will release in almost 1200 screens worldwide, in the three languages. This is exactly the sort of appeal this film deserves, because of its concept and novelty," producers S Sashikanth and Chakravarthy Ramachandra said.

Since Game Over is a psychological drama, the makers are tight-lipped about the storyline of the film. Even the trailer avoids giving too many details on the plot.  The makers are counting on the content, technical aspects and the power-packed performance from Taapsee Pannu. After promoting the movie in Mumbai, the talented actress will be in Hyderabad to promote the movie ahead of its release next week.

Besides Game Over, Taapsee Pannu has a long list of movies in her pocket at the moment. Talking about her Hindi films, she has just wrapped up Anurag Kashyap’s Saand Ki Aankh, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. She also headlines the upcoming romantic film Tadka, which is currently at the post-production stage.

Her next big release in Bollywood will be Mission Mangal. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi and Kirti Kulhari in lead roles. It is set to release on 15th August. Down South, she has next teamed up with superstar Jayam Ravi for an untitled film.
