Super fan of the week - Tiger Shroff

RISING star Tiger Shroff had another year to remember with a starring role in 2019’s highest grossing Bollywood film War. His list of admirers have been growing rapidly and one of those is Muhammad Nawaz from Rawalpindi in Pakistan, who runs a fan club dedicated to the actor.

Eastern Eye caught up with super fan Nawaz to find out more.

What connected you to Tiger?

I first saw him on May 30, 2014. His entry scene in Heropanti blew my mind and the way he did his stunts was just amazing. It made me want to know more about him.

What made you his super fan?

His jaw-dropping stunts and amazing dancing skills.

Tell us about something super you have done for Tiger?

I joined social media platforms in 2017 for him and hope to do super things.

What has been your most memorable moment?

All his films are memorable, but if he would wish me on my birthday with a small video clip that would be incredible.

What is the thing you most love about Tiger?

He’s an inspiration for others. He has inspired Bollywood actors and also impressed Hollywood actors Gwyneth Paltrow, Tom Holland and the legendary Sylvester Stallone.

Which quality in Tiger do you most relate to?

His humbleness and kindness.

What is your favourite work Tiger has done?

War because he played a fantastic dual performance, as honest and patriotic Khalid and evil menacing Saurabh.

Why do you love being Tiger’s super fan?

Tiger has superpowers that attract people towards being crazy about him. There is no better feeling for any fan than being connected to their favourite – to be able to know about what’s his next movie or what they will do next. Becoming a super fan you need to know everything related to them. And I’m proud to be a Tigerian.
