Shah Rukh Khan’s name linked to yet another film

Last seen in the Anand L Rai-directed Zero (2018), which did not live up to the audience’s huge expectations, superstar Shah Rukh Khan is yet to announce his next film. In past ten months, his name has been associated with almost half a dozen movies, but every time a rumour crops up about his next, he himself comes forward and rubbishes it in style.

His name is being linked to yet another film. Yes, you heard it right! With rumours doing the rounds about the Hindi remake of Hollywood blockbuster Kill Bill, the latest buzz has it that superstar Shah Rukh Khan might come onboard to play an important role in the Hindi remake.

A popular tabloid reports that producer Nikhil Dwivedi is planning to remake the superhit film in Hindi with Anurag Kashyap. A source close to the development tells the publication that the remake is one of the many films that SRK is considering for his next as he is keen on joining forces with Kashyap.

“Nikhil bought the remake rights earlier this year, and now, he is in the process of giving shape to the project. There has been talk about Shah Rukh stepping into the role of the antagonist, Bill. This is one of the many films that the actor is considering for his next as he is keen on working with Kashyap. However, the discussions are at the nascent stage. The team has yet to zero in on the leading lady who will breathe life into Thurman’s part,” says the source.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is winning rave reviews for his maiden digital show Bard of Blood, which he has produced under his banner, Red Chillies Entertainment. Starring Emraan Hashmi, Vineet Kumar Singh and Kirti Kulhari in important roles, the seven-episode series premiered on 27th September on Netflix.
