Shah Rukh Khan set to host Ted Talks India Season 2

One of the biggest movie stars in the world, Shah Rukh Khan added another feather to his cap when he was invited to appear on the American version of Ted Talks in 2017. To cash in on the incredible popularity of Khan and his matchless charisma, the makers rolled out the Indian version of the show last year with swashbuckling Khan as the host.

Ted Talks India: Nayi Soch was received well by the audience and buoyed up by the reception of the first season on Indian shores, the makers are now planning to launch the second season of the show.

According to reports, the makers have already started preparations for Ted Talks India Season 2. They have approached Shah Rukh Khan who has given his consent to host it once again. The superstar has given his November month’s date to shoot the show.

“Last time, the episodes were shot in August and aired in December, but this time, there won’t be such a long gap between the shoot and the telecast. It will be on the same channel that aired the first season,” a source says.

The show will hit the airwaves in December on Star Plus, the same broadcaster which aired the first season. It is also being reported that celebrities like A. R. Rahman, who couldn’t make it to the last season, will be a part of this season.

An official announcement is awaited.
