Salman Khan’s new look from Bharat inflames the internet

Continuing the trend of releasing his films on Eid, superstar Salman Khan will treat cinephiles with his much-awaited movie Bharat on upcoming Eid. The big-ticket film, which features Katrina Kaif as the female lead, has been in news ever since it was officially announced last year. It is being touted as one of the biggest Bollywood releases of 2019.

A couple of months ago, a teaser of the movie had been released, which largely received positive response from audiences. Today, the makers dropped a poster from the film, wherein Salman Khan can be seen in the avatar of a middle-aged man with salt and pepper look.

The poster has gone viral ever since coming out, with almost everyone praising Khan’s look in it. The official remake of the Korean film, Ode to My Father, Bharat is a story of a man and a country together which pans through over 50 years. The makers are expected to drop a few more posters ahead of the official release of the film’s trailer on 24th April.

Bharat is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and marks his third collaboration with Salman Khan after Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). The movie has been jointly produced by T-Series, Salman Khan Films and Reel Life Production.

It is slated to roll into theatres on 5th June, 2019.
