Saif Ali Khan's 'Kaalakaandi' postponed, new release date yet not out!

Saif Ali Khan has many films lined up for release in the next couple of months, one of them being Kaalakaandi. The film, which is a story of six characters coming from different walks of life, has Khan playing the main lead in it. But if you were planning to watch the film on September 8, then here is bad news for you. You will have to wait some more as the release date of the film has been postponed.

Scheduled to hit screens on 8th September, the release of the film has been put on hold because Censor Board Of Film Certification has demanded some cuts in the film. What is to be noted here is that all these cuts were demanded by the previous Censor Board Chief Pahlaj Nihalani.

In a statement issued by the makers of the film, they said, “It has been decided to postpone the release (of Kaalakaandi) to be able to have sufficient time to complete the process as the CBFC has suggested cuts. A new date shall be announced shortly.”

Apart from Saif Ali Khan, the movie also features Deepak Dobriyal and Vijay Raaz in key characters. Besides Kaalakaandi, Saif also has Chef and Bazaar in his hand.
