Pakistani police arrest fourth suspect in Briton’s murder

PAKISTANI police have arrested a fourth suspect in the murder of a British man who ran Zorba Pizza and Balti takeaway with his brother in Rossendale.

Jahangir Hussain, 29, from Blackburn, Lancashire, was shot dead on January 9 near his mother's home in the city of Jhelum.


According to police sources, the suspect is in custody after his arrest.

A youth, a man and a woman have also been arrested for their suspected role in the murder and have been bailed until Saturday (25) when all are due to appear at Jhelum District Court.

Hussain's mother was also injured in the attack but she survived.

He used to travel to Pakistan frequently to visit his family and friends.

Virgin Trains has taken a significant step towards challenging Eurostar’s long-standing grip on cross-Channel passenger rail, securing track access approval for new services between London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam from 2030.

The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) has approved an agreement allowing Sir Richard Branson’s company to run up to 20 daily return services through the Channel Tunnel. The agreement covers the period from October 1, 2030 to December 31, 2040.
