Mohit Suri isn’t casting Aditya Roy Kapur in his next!

Recently, a lot of reports were doing the rounds that after the success of his last directorial Half Girlfriend, which starred Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, filmmaker Mohit Suri has started working on a new project and has approached Aditya Roy Kapur to play the male lead in it. However, Suri has rubbished all such rumours.

In an interaction with a leading Indian daily, Mohit said, “I have been busy scripting my films. The scripts are not ready and I have not approached anyone. Aditya is a very dear friend of mine and he lives next door. He keeps dropping in. We were just watching Woh Lamhe together.”

For the uninitiated, it was Mohit Suri's romantic drama Aashiqui 2 which catapulted Aditya Roy Kapur to the crescendo of success. Since then, they have not done any film together. However, the news of them coming together keeps popping up every now and then. The audience, too, wants them to join hands again and deliver a massive hit like Aashiqui 2. But it seems their wait is not going to get over anytime soon.

Meanwhile, Mohit Suri is currently busy with a sports drama featuring Farhan Akhtar as the male lead.
