Manushi Chillar not roped in for Prithviraj Chauhan?

Of late, 2017 Miss World Manushi Chillar has been rumoured to be entering filmdom with Yash Raj Films’ ambitious project Prithviraj Chauhan. However, if a well-placed source is to be believed, she is not doing the high-profile film.

Prithviraj Chauhan, which is a historical film, stars superstar Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The project will be helmed by filmmaker Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Besides Kumar and Dwivedi, no other person has been signed for the movie so far.

“The lady that you mention has not been considered, let alone approached for Prithviraj Chauhan. So far, the project only has director Chandraprakash Dwivedi and Akshay Kumar on board. The lead actress has not been discussed. But it is unlikely to be a newcomer,” lets out the source.

Before Prithviraj Chauhan, Manushi Chillar was rumoured to be making her debut opposite Ranveer Singh. But later it turned out that no such project had been planned. It looks like the former beauty queen will have to wait a little longer to take a dive into showbiz.

Meanwhile, Prithviraj Chauhan is expected to start rolling in 2020.
