Kareena to throw a bash to celebrate Sara’s successful debut

According to reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan is mighty impressed with her stepdaughter Sara Ali Khan’s Bollywood debut with the film Kedarnath (2018) and hence, she is planning to throw a bash next week which will be attended by her and husband Saif Ali Khan's close friends.

“Kareena is planning to host a get-together next week. She was impressed with Sara's powerful performance in Kedarnath. With an impending entertainer in Simmba, Kareena thinks Sara has been judicious with her choice of movies and has the potential to make it big in the industry," reports a popular Indian tabloid. "Kareena Kapoor Khan will invite her and Saif's close friends to the do. She will personally be overseeing the arrangements for the bash," the report said further.


Also starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Kedarnath hit screens on 7th December. Though the Abhishek Kapoor directorial opened to mixed reviews, every critic praised Sara Ali Khan’s outstanding performance in it.

Kareena, who has always shared a warm relationship with Saif Ali Khan’s kids from his previous marriage with actress Amrita Singh, saw Kedarnath on Saturday along with Saif and her mother Babita at a private screening in Mumbai.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
